1935
Segundo Aranguren Goiri registra la marca SAG, dando inicio a una trayectoria empresarial que evolucionará a lo largo de las décadas y que sentará las bases de una marca reconocida en el sector de la seguridad.
1975
The CERRAJAS SAG trademark is officially registered, expanding the company’s commercial identity and strengthening its market presence.
2000
The company adopts the name SAG SEGURIDAD S.L., aligning its identity with its core business. The use of the sagseguridad.com domain is incorporated, and product marketing begins under the SAG logo.
2005
Due to sustained growth, SAG moves to a new facility in Basauri, accompanied by a significant investment in machinery to increase production capacity and meet growing demand.
2010
SAG obtains ISO 9001 certification, consolidating its commitment to quality and continuous improvement. The company currently maintains ISO 9001:2015 certification.
2013
SAG introduces its first deadbolt with push-button interior release, an innovation that improves security and ease of use, attracting new customers and expanding its market presence.
2017
The brand undergoes a complete logo restyling, adopting more modern lines and updating all corporate elements: packaging, documentation, and digital presence.
2017
A completely renewed version of the CSI deadbolt is launched, featuring significant improvements in security and design. The product quickly becomes an industry benchmark. That same year, the Euro Profile cylinder deadbolt is also introduced.
2018
SAG makes a significant investment in a fully automated key production line, increasing its production capacity and ensuring an efficient response to growing demand.
2020
The electric brake release boxes obtain CE marking, complying with European regulations UNE EN 14846:2010, EN 50581:2012, UNE EN IEC 61000 6 2:2019, UNE EN 61000 6 3:2007, and UNE EN 61000 6 3:2007/A1:2012. This milestone guarantees compliance with the security and quality standards required in the European Union and opens the SAG brand to new markets.
2024
SAG patents the K Profile, a new key design and cylinder system intended to equip all of the company’s tubular key products. This innovation reinforces the security, exclusivity, and technical protection of its systems. Patent: P202331055
